Atticus Jones is the owner and operator of Jonesin’ For Colts. His Journey in training horses began just after high school when he dropped the books, left Kansas and chased a job in Southeastern Montana where he cinched up his britches and learned how to be a hand. Heavy man hours in day work and horsemanship, a dream developed with a horse under a saddle, reigns in hand, and guidance of the good Lord. With prayer and patience Atticus returned to Kansas to pursue his goals in colt starting and horse training.

Atticus believes in partnering with the good Lord’s creation and shepherding His land in grace and harmony. Weather you are punching cattle, kicking up arena dust, or out trailing, our goal is to train you and your horse to work in unison to achieve a gracefully harmonic partnership.

Aside from horse training Atticus Jones has many irons in the fire.
